Each week, I have the privilege to stand and proclaim salvation in Jesus Christ—in the same place where great men of God have stood since 1881. The gospel is still changing lives here today, just as it did then. Even though our peripherals have changed, this testimony holds true: we all need Jesus.

It is my strong conviction that the ministries of First Baptist will lead men, women, and children to saving faith in the Son of God. But not only that—that each of us, together, would experience the kind of hope and transformation which comes only through our daily surrender to His divine will: by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the study of God’s Word, through worship, and prayer.
